Rebuilding Resilience for post  business recovery

The years 2020/2021 have left an indelible mark on travel and tourism globally, leaving many companies reeling from the effects of the global pandemic.   Destinations continue to grapple with the reality of COVID 19 and no one is exempt from the damage left in its wake.    As we slowly get back to normal, lessons have been learned as we emerge from this pandemic.

SEO – up your online marketing creativity and innovation.   In the world of digital marketing, Search Engine Optimization becomes relevant and important.     Take a look at your website and its position in the search results.    Your aim is to be listed at the top.   Look at keywords, and links to your website and ensure that the content on your website leads to a Call to Action.    With SEO you are able to reach your target audience in an effective way.

Review revenue stream carefully.   Your digital marketing budget must make sense.   It is important to set a goal.   Allocate funds based on success.  For example, if a particular marketing channel is working more successfully than another, then target the funds there.    Plan your content creation. No one was prepared for the continuation of the pandemic but it does mean that you should build resilience to survive the crisis and create a buffer for the next big situation.

Resilience is crucial to surviving crises as it makes no sense to just roll over and play dead.   The drive to keep pushing until you see the light at the end of the tunnel makes for a successful and positive outcome.
