Falmouth, the capital of the Parish of Trelawny, is the centre of architecture and heritage. This small town was considered the most cosmopolitan city in the western world in the 1700’s when “sugar was king – “The Paris of the Indies” with fresh running water. This huge trading centre facilitated the sale of slaves, sugar, rum, fine furnishings and logwood with Albert George Market being the largest and most popular.
Today, this coastal town boasts a large deep-water cruise port, many hotels and resorts along with many dominant attractions.
